Almighty God, our heavenly Father, in Whose hands are the

living and the dead, we thank you for those who gave their lives in the service of our country. May their sacrifice, patriotism and devotion to country inspire us to work for

peace and justice in our world. Receive the souls of these heroic men and women and grant them eternal rest. We ask

this through Christ, our Lord.
