ST. JOSEPH'S MEN'S CLUB

"Be watchful, stand firm in faith, act like men, be strong."   Corinthians 16:13

The Men’s Club members donate their time to provide light maintenance and upkeep of our buildings and property including the Church cemetery on Southampton Road in Westfield. Our members are always ready to assist and support all other organizations within our church, as well as provide service to our community. The group has an annual lunch meeting where officers are elected, events are planned, and meetings scheduled during the year.

The highlight of the year for the group is on St. Joseph's Day when we attend Mass together and then have a wonderful breakfast prepared and served to us by our sister group members, the Women’s Adoration Society. We return this favor to our sister group by preparing and serving them breakfast later in the year.

Funds raised from our events are used to provide donations to cover partial costs of church summer camp retreats for our youth. We also have supported adopt-a-family initiatives at Christmas time through The Salvation Army and have provided deep sea fishing trips for our faithful altar server group. Other previous events have included:

• Spaghetti Suppers

• Fish Dinners

• Pulled Pork & Pig Roasts

• Winter Picnic Cookout

• Trips to the Bronx Zoo, Red Sox Games, Christmas shows and many others
